The Swan Inn, in Fittleworth, nr Pulborough is a beautiful inn full of character.

The menu is superb and great value. You definitely will not go hungry during your stay there. The rooms are comfortable, but the real character of the Swan Inn is in the bar and the restaurant.

Definitely worth a stay.

The Mermaid Inn, Rye, East Sussex

The Mermaid Inn in Rye is steeped in history. Smugglers used the hotel regularly to hide from the customs men, and even today there are hidden doors and walkways interlinking the rooms.

The pub if absolutely crammed with character with beautiful oak beams and traditional decor.

The staff are outstanding and your stay there will certainly be memorable. The restaurant is fantastic with a great menu and very well presented food. You will enjoy every morsel!

Gurkha Kitchen Reigate (Ghurka Kitchen)

We recently had a meal at the Gurkha Kitchen, in Reigate and thought I would share our experience. This was our first visit, so we weren’t quite sure what to order or even how to order.

When you go to a Chinese restaurant, you tend to order different dishes, so you get to try all the tastes on offer. With the Gurkha kitchen, this isn’t really the case (unless you’re in a big party).

We ordered a couple of starters, and the waiter recommended a couple of dishes for our main course. I have to say, the food was delicious! We ate every morsel. We had been told that the food might be slightly hot (chilli-wise), but nothing we ate was that hot.
