Surrey Jobs – Senior Web Developer
My client – a leader in data driven marketing – is looking for an experienced web developer to join their expanding team to work from their Head Office based in East Grinstead.
ABSOLUTE ESSENTIALS FOR THIS ROLE ARE EXPERIENCE OF THE FOLLOWING:- .NET, CMS, EpiServer, HTML, SL Server
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Aiding project managers in providing the technical consultancy
• Development of wireframes, site maps & functioning prototypes
• Providing assistance to Project Managers in the planning of projects (eg provision of estimates, risk analysis, technical options)
• Involvement in full life cycle of projects (including pre-sales, analysis and system design, development and support)
• Support and work collaboratively with team managers across areas of design, development, quality assurance and operations
• Be prepared to travel to London (when needed) to work with client services and digital production team
• Any other reasonable duties that may be assigned from time to time
• Be prepared to work outside of standard hours (09:00-17:30) including evenings & weekends as and when required, to meet client delivery timescales
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• Experience in Object Oriented Programming in .NET 3.0 or 3.5 using C#
• Experience in HTML/CSS/XML/JAVASCRIPT/AJAX
• Experience writing web services
• Strong SQL Server development/administering skills
• Used to working in a fast paced environment using RAD/Agile methodologies
• Experience of solution design and architecting of Intranet/Extranet applications
• Beneficial experience to include working on (CMS (EPIServer)/SHAREPOINT/E-Commerce)
• Any experience with Social Networking site integration would be advantageous
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of digital design, information analysis, business analysis, development and QA processes
• Excellent organisation skills, including the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and across multiple large-scale projects
